Baltimore Woman Wins Big on Bingo

Wins $150,000 Top Prize on Diamond Dazzler Bingo

A Baltimore woman could not believe her eyes when she scratched the top prize of $150,000 on a Diamond Dazzler Bingo scratch off. She realized she did not have her correct glasses on and thought that was why her eyes were deceiving her. Once she had her correct reading glasses on, she checked the ticket again, only to realize she did indeed win $150,000.

“I couldn’t believe that I won; I checked the ticket almost 50 times to make sure I was really a winner,” said the woman. An avid Diamond Dazzler Bingo player, the Baltimore woman always takes some of her ticket winnings to buy more; yet she never thought she would be cashing in her ticket for the top prize.

The lucky winner is going to use the money to take care of her bills and plans on saving the rest. The winning ticket was purchased at J Convenience located at8765 Satyr Hill Road in Parkville.

Claims Diamond Dazzler Bingo Top Prize

Robert Blades loves the Lottery. He plays frequently, enjoying a variety of games – Pick 3, Pick 4, Mega Millions, Powerball and, of course, scratch-offs. So, you would think that he’d realize when he had hit the big one. Yet, it took the 59-year-old quite awhile to realize that he was $150,000 richer.

“First I thought that I’d won $75,” said Robert. When the Lottery machine at the store where he purchased his tickets kept reading, “See Lottery” the clerk told Robert, “I’m telling you, this is a nice chunk of money.”

Robert then proceeded to the Lottery’s Lanham office, now thinking that he had won $10,000. It was there that the woman asked, “Do you know how much you won”? She then pointed to the top of the ticket and the $150,000 top prize. An incredulous Robert said that he was “totally stoked.”

In order to claim the large prize, Robert made his final trip to Lottery Headquarters in Baltimore. “It still hasn’t quite hit me,” said Robert. The accountant and tax professional intends to use his new found wealth to buy a BMW for himself as well as a car and refrigerator for his sister-in-law. He also intends to purchase a food truck for his son, who is a chef. “He’s going to be one happy camper,” said Robert. He’ll be particularly glad to discover that the $10,000 prize his father told him about is actually 15 times larger.

The winning ticket was purchased at Hampton Mall Exxon, located at 8901 Central Ave. in Capitol Heights. Many prizes still remain on the Diamond Dazzler Bingo scratch-off including two $150,000 top prizes and eight $10,000 prizes.

“I don’t play often, but when I do, I make sure they
are Bingo tickets,” said William.

New Jersey man claims prize

When William Major was younger, he would watch his grandmother scratch her Lottery tickets. His memory of her playing Bingo scratch-offs is what led William to purchase a $150,000 winning Diamond Dazzler Bingo ticket last weekend.

“I don’t play often, but when I do, I make sure they are Bingo tickets,” said the 30-year-old New Jersey resident.  William, who has been working for Denville Line Painting for more than 10 years, has recently been assigned to a job in Maryland.

After revealing the big win, William looked over the ticket at least three additional times.  He then asked his crew to take a look, too.  Once the win was confirmed, he called his mother and his sisters with the news.  “My mother still can’t sleep!”

When asked what he was going to do with his winnings, William told Lottery officials he planned to pay bills and save.  “I’m still going to go to work everyday.”

The winning ticket was purchased at Essex Exxon, located at 2333 Eastern Blvd. in Essex. Many prizes still remain on the Diamond Dazzler Bingo scratch-off including three $150,000 top prizes and eight $10,000 prizes.
