Pick 3 Pays Off Big for Players

Triples Break the Bank Last Night

Lottery officials are reporting that last night’s Pick 3 results of 7-7-7 broke the bank – and then some.  The better-than $1.6 million prize payout was more than four times the amount wagered by players on the drawing.

“Triples and quadruples are always popular with our players,” said Carole Everett, the Lottery’s Director of Communications.  “Whenever they’re drawn we expect significant payouts.”  Last night’s Pick 3 marks the third time this year for triples.  The last occurrence was June 13th when 2-2-2 was drawn.

    what happened to 1211. it used to play every year, until 2000 hit. Over 12 years for a hit. wow!

    I usually hit, but not really big the wk. of or before my birthday, which is today(Dec. 14)-hit 3 digit bxd. off of 013 for $40 last wk.,& last year before my birthday I hit for $80 off of 800 !!!

    OK so, I read this and understand what you are all saying. I have been playing the same number for for 20 years now and it has never come out. The number is my deceased son’s b-day. Well, I got some relief tonight since it came out 3013 instead of 3130, but that does nothing to compensate me for the tens of thousands I have spent playing it. Good Luck
